My god, I just spent the past hour or so looking for the audio driver for my M2 Tecra after I had formatted. I did the usual thing and googled. Unfortunately for me, every result seemed to return how-to’s for Linux – I’m a Windows boy by heart.
I eventually found what I was looking for on the driverguide.com website but they required a free signup. This signup process took forever to complete as I was bombarded with advertising and promotion offers.
However it was worth the effort – www.driversguide.com
Note: Don’t install the default driver contained in the ZIP. The correct driver is
Intel(r) 82801AA/AB/BA/CA AC’97 Audio Controller
